Old gen have portrayal advantage but by on panel feats I don't see them surpassing waido. Monster like endurance, all adv haki , island level adv coc mode etc.

The only one I see well above Kaido is Rocks, wouldn't surprise me if any other old gen gets beaten by Kaido

He's obviously a pirate and will plunder as much as he wants, but he still seems like a better and more respectable person than Roger or Garp the celestial dragon royal guard.

Roger and Garp were not there to protect Celestial Dragons: we know for a fact Garp despises them and Roger must be no less.
If they killed Rocks, he was probably about to do something very dangerous and harmful.

I imagined him as a completely ruthless and merciless power hungry warlord that will have a very generic personality, but people would still like him because of his overwhelming power.

I'm glad he didn't turn out like that, to my surprise, he's easily jumping into my list of favorite OP characters.

By portrayal Roger/Rocks/WB/Warp should be bit above but I doubt we will get feats to prove that.

Garp beat up his (grand)kids and threw them into the jungle to toughen them up, despite being treated like a good guy.

Child abuse doesn't translate to a cartoonish series like OP the same way it does in irl, especially not for Loki, a giant who survived falling from hundreds of feet and then murdered several giant animals, all as a newborn.

Cause most old gen haven't gotten an entire arc dedicated to them lol. The best has been WB who did better than kaido despite being in his deathbed.

Rocks, Harald, Roger, Garp, WB all clear kaido. Even Shank.

Nah it is accepted Kaido's feats are better than MF WB. WB only showed better DC.

Shanks don't have better portrayal. No current gen pirate do.
