If you prefer the term "common lands without individual private property" it also works. We are not talking about paradise, we are talking about a place where people do not own the land in the sense of the individual property we know at the moment.
Lands were given, shared, passed on, but not selled as an individual property. It was all a question of usage.
There was indeed many different cultures all around and many many groups of people. But capitalism and the concept of individual private property, is not something that came from this continent.
Raids and warfare including rape, kidnapping/forced adoption of children and adults alike, land grabbing and ethnic cleansing don't fit that idea of a peaceful shared home where everyone lived happily ever after.

You seem to be oblivious to the fact that this double continent was and to some degree still is home to incredibly diverse ethnic and culture groups with unique religions and mythologies. To group them all together is as nonsensical as to speak of "the Asian society" or "the African form of land distribution".
Your once again prove my observation that ultra leftists who approach the indigenous topic solely from an ultra left political angle are not really interested in indigenous issues in their own right but use indigenous people as a canvas to project their sociopolitical desires and agenda.

- I'm talking directly with native, subjugated and colonized descendants to understand these subjects.
- I uses the words of scientifics and the words of collectives who are much more knowledgable on these subjects than me, you and the entire forum combined.
- I listen, not to native french politician or influencers on those subjects, but activist and teachers who cames from subjugated people and nations in France because of necessities.
- I also listen to activists coming from subjectated nations who are critical of their own people and their own praxis.
