Meh. Xebec is pretty lame, but this FB really made Roger just way worse. Not sure what Oda is doing, but ever since Oden Roger has been on an L streak. Barely anyone respects his power or his personality. He's just a mess.
Idk why Oda went with the protagonist route with Xebec.

If he was straight up evil it will it also intensify BBs role as the villain and also a solid reason for Garp and Roger to oppose him.

He whitewashed Xebec at the expense of Roger and Garp

@SakazOuki @Kurozumi Wiwi @MarineHQ @Elder Lee Hung

Kuzan holding back on this clown is becoming an L for his character
Was always the weakest aspect of Kuzan’s character, no contest

Why Oda took the Marine who’s philosophy is all about him struggling with his own Justice and the WG’s Justice, and make him a fanboy of a monkey who doesn’t care about Justice of any kind, is completely beyond me.

Angewomon is such a baddie.
Ooooh, nice connection to the Hero Water.

Yeah, Davy Jones would be the Sea Devil here: we already know Spirits exist from both the Klabautermann and Film Red Lore.

And Brook, LOL.

Series is all about Inherited Will, too. Well, what happens when your Will actually surpasses death?

Davy Jones could very well be a Spirit/Demonic Entity at this point, not even mortal.

Teach's Darkness Fruit resembles Imu's powers a lot, IMO; I've been wondering if the Yami can make use of the Abyss.

Davy Jones and Imu having the same Evil Power as their source of strength is very interesting.
Tyvm my bro clown! My....brown? LOL!

Thats an excellent point about the spirits and also about will surpassing death, it would explain why Luffy could do "fire powers" after Ace died even though its because hes the "Sun God" now too, I loved the idea of him replicating Ace's powers because of inherited will and literally "will of fire" to go all Naruto too then lmao ironically. Also Oda explored this concept not just with Going Merry but also Kuma at Egghead, his body "moving on its own" and moving "after death", doing the impossible, a miracle etc. Even suspected to be a Buccaneer trait? Vegapunk had that theory and experiment about how much a soul weighs and change in body weight after death, which was based on a real life experiment/theory by Einstein too IIRC?

Ah welp it was this guy lol:

The weight of the soul, and the concept of a 21-gram soul originates from a discredited experiment by physician Dr. Duncan MacDougall in 1907. MacDougall's flawed experiment attempted to measure a weight loss in dying patients at the moment of death, attributing it to the soul's departure, but his methodology was criticized for poor scientific rigor, small sample size, and inconsistencies in his findings.

Yeah I could see that about Davy Jones too, that would be cool and definitely plausible given what Film Red gave us with THOT Musica and such.

Blackbeard being able to use Abyss would be EPIC, I could see that! I keep thinking he uses mini blackholes like wormholes and fires attacks out of them like portals too, whether its own punches, using his 3 guns, gura attacks, darkness attacks or w/e his 3rd fruit will be too etc.

Abyss can relate to the deepest parts of the ocean too ofc, so its even more fitting for him and Davy Jones and Blackbeard having the "dark water" ability move too. Abyss can refer to the deepest depths of depression, the inescapable pit of despair so all so thematically fitting too.

Right?! I've wondered why the Yami Yami seems so similar to what Imu can do and if it could have been an attempt at cloning/replicating Imu's powers or maybe it's also part of Imu or a manifestation of someone like Davy Jones trying to manifest Imu's powers into a Devil Fruit to try and contest them? Idk. It was called the most evil fruit and implied to be sentient by Blackbeard himself too, saying "it chose him", like Zoans apparently choose their owners or try to at least and that it "called out to him", although that might just be more metaphorical/symbolical than literal ofc?
