The problem is that we're in the final saga now. We HAVE to see big battles and there are like 40 top tier characters who need some showings for it to be satisfying.

If the fights with the Gorosei/Kizaru are representative of what we're going to get for the rest of the story that's pretty grim

Depends how you people define adventure.

Fishmen island is a good aventure. Punk Hazard as well. Dressrosa too. Zou is incredible. WCI and even Wano are great as well.

I'd say Egghead and Elbaf not as much... But still lots of adventure.

We already have Rocks Pirates, Roger Pirates, Garp, Saturn, Garling and the other Holy Knights.

As well as Dragon, baby Shanks and baby Shamrock along with their mom, kid Blackbeard and his mom, kid Kuma and kid Iva.

I hope that's it, we don't need to have everyone be at God Valley.

Garling seems like a cooler opponent.
If Zoro can not face Shanks in the story, guy who Mihawk faced at his strongest, defeating his Dad before fighting Mihawk would be cool.

Garling is cool but it doesn't work for the story, Shamrock has Cerberus power and is basically Hell's guardian which is Zoro's whole theme. Garling is made for Dragon because of the whole Ginny thing for sure.

He isn't a marine until his early 20s so he'd be a civilian, which imo would make 0 sense unless he really has been secretly planning on betraying the CDs since day 0 @Elder Lee Hung

The problem is that Oda puts Luffy vs 50 useless characters we don't need to see him fighting. Like Apoo (same goes to Zoro), Ulti etc.

So if Akainu was present at God Valley it'd be about 7 years before he joins the Navy (Akainu would be 16 based on the timeline).

One thing that's interesting here is that Dragon joined the Navy much younger than Sakazuki even though they were the same age.

So Sakazuki looking up to Dragon/seeing him as an upper class men would check out very strongly @Paperchampion23

Like what the hell is adventure for you? To me is like reverse mountain, calm belt, crazy sea, bubble ship underwater, Impel Down. Is a minor part of One Piece. Wano let it clear that fights is the main focus.

Like the same arc we're still in showing them going across the countryside and seeing the super villages and meeting new people.

And Wano? The arc that started with them going across Kuri, seeing the sad state of the land?

Ah, I wasnt aware, my bad. I see it says he was 23 when that happened. Being the same age as Dragon, he probably became a marine 6 years later (32 years ago).

In that case, unless Dragon stayed being Marine until this time period, I guess they never met. I guess we'll see

I mean, being the same age and both being part of the marines would imply it considering how much Akainu only calls Luffy has the son of Dragon. That said. I didnt realize Sakazuki joined that much later.

some of these had good adventure moments, but it´s just not as good as it used to be(Zou was pretty cool though, actually)

The timeline allows Dragon to be with the Marines until his early 30s I think, there still is a high chance of Sakazuki and Dragon meeting in the marines. Dragon would have just been an upper classmen to Sakazuki.

Possibly even Sakazuki's commander or something based on the experience difference
