considering how much Akainu only calls Luffy has the son of Dragon. That said. I didnt realize Sakazuki joined that much later.

He dislikes the sons of criminals and thinks they share in the sin, as we can see with him also killing Ace for being the son of Roger. That doesn´t mean he has a connection to either Roger or Dragon, he just dislikes them(as do all marines)

Dragon likely wasn´t a marine for a long time, since the public basically has zero knowledge on him. He might have left around God Valley, when he was a teenager

So if Akainu was present at God Valley it'd be about 7 years before he joins the Navy (Akainu would be 16 based on the timeline).

One thing that's interesting here is that Dragon joined the Navy much younger than Sakazuki even though they were the same age.

So Sakazuki looking up to Dragon/seeing him as an upper class men would check out very strongly @Paperchampion23

Yeah so basically all we know is this:

- 38 years ago Dragon was a young marine at 17
- 31 or 32 years ago Sakazuki and Borsalino join the marines. I guess Kuzan joined around the same time, just a bit younger. ( at 16 or 17).
- 25 years ago Dragon had at least formed the freedom fighters.

That gives ~6-7 year period where Dragon may have still been a marine and knew everyone else, it just depends on how soon he becomes disillusioned by it all.

given his family was killed or threaten maybe it was easier for Imu to turn him into a demon

or maybe it’s just his bloodline that is that way, if they have great pain their turn himself into vengeful beast (Uchiha style)

The problem is that we're in the final saga now. We HAVE to see big battles and there are like 40 top tier characters who need some showings for it to be satisfying.

If the fights with the Gorosei/Kizaru are representative of what we're going to get for the rest of the story that's pretty grim

I do feel like having both Kizaru and five dudes who are basically invulnerable, at the same time was a bit bloated.

Chances are, someone killed BB's mom and that set Rocks off and he ended up going on a rampage, which is probably why Roger and Garp we're forced to stop him.

Yep, I dont expect much actual fighting that Oda will blatantly show. A few big hype double spreads for sure, like:

- Whitebeard and Roger clashing
- Probably another Garp and Roger one
- Garp and Roger vs Xebec for sure

These im confident in. But maaaaaybe things like:

- Dragon vs Garling (since hes the reason Shanks was saved)
- Shiki and Silver Axe vs Roger/Rayleigh/Gaban (any of the 3)
- John, Kaido, Big Mom, Ochoku, Ganzui, etc all having decent panels just to show them off.

Its possible Ganzui, John, Silver Axe, and a few others die here so we see that happen.
