Moral greyness has been gone since a very long time ago in OP. Making the CD so ridiculously obvious and over the top monsters without them even trying to cover their true nature and evil was a huge part in that.

Why the hell Oda had Harald and Xebec fighting last chapter only to make them "making peaces" this chapter?

Why the hell is Garling stabbing the mother of his kids and letting the kids with her instead of taking them away right now?

Why the hell Roger will fight Xebec for? In fact why the hell they are even rivals? So far it doesn't seem they ever fought before.

Why Garling had kids with a woman that is not fit to be his wife?

Why having Davy Clan, Buccaner Clan, or any other clan that you want to erradicate alive as slave?

If rocks and roger never battled once prior to god valley than why was he called his greatest foe and strongest adversary
