I feel like Oda is waiting until after this flashback to reintroduce Kidd because it will be revealed that he has some type of connection with Rocks. (Vegapunk too imo). He is on/near elbaph fs. Shanks defeated him on the outskirts of the island. It only makes sense

Well, it´s a bit hard to keep track of the pre flashback mysteries, but we never did find out who Mosa is, or whats going in the sun world, or whatever it´s called, so they could have Kidd imprisoned or something, I guess.

I think we could see him in the cover story reintroduced as the 11th Blackbeard pirate Captain.

With him stealing pluton, probably with the help of Pizarro

But Yamato will fight him off and prevent him from hurting civilians, leading to her becoming Daimyo of Old Wano
