I don't think people really hate Roger
He's getting over shadowed by Xebec.
Might be....
Garp character is quite inconsistent to make anything out of it.
But as WG hides IMu existence and can't let pirates have any glory, they can twist the narrative like Smoker was the one who defeated Croc but we know it was Luffy.
But then, World do know that Roger + Garp defeated Xebec so why WG let Roger have this glory?

Starting to wonder how much of the Rocks Pirates not talking about each other was actually because they all truly hated each other
Or it was more: "Yeah, we don't talk about the time our crew disbanded because half of us turned into Demons on God Valley and we had to kill each other."
The Rocks Pirates getting Domi Reversi'd and having to kill each other to make it off the island, including possibly their own captain, is a real mood-killer to bring up at parties.
Not to mention all the murdered Slaves/God Valley Citizens.
Same reason Garp doesn't bring it up: God Valley was BAD for everyone involved.
If Kaido gets hurt by Domi Reversi Rocks, it's gonna hurt me internally, man.

Rocks is awesome! Definitely in my top 10 favourites now. He's what I thought Roger was.
Figarlack Gargling the Mcdonalds mascot getting pwned was not on my list of expectations but is absolutely hilarious tbh.
I never liked how people kept hyping him as some Primebeard/Admiral slayer when he'd barely done anything.
Ofc tbh it's possibly he got stronger after this and managed to get the drop on WB later.
I kinda hope not though, I don't really want WB to job for the sake of his improvements...having Roger be the one who scared Newgate would be the real subversion at this point.
Speaking of which, WB actually isn't doing all that bad! Like the simping and running away moments were goofy but Oda definitely compensated for it IMO.
Waido stealing the fruit was also funny, this FB has definitely made me like him more.
Imu/Saturn is going to make major waves powerscaling wise next chapter for sure!

WCI would've been so crazy if Katakuri had the Seiryu fruit... too bad his mother is a fat, incompetent jobber and Kaido took it from her as if he was just stealing her lunch money.

Rocks is strong as fuck. Like, we asked "Why didn't Imu fight Rocks in Marijoa?"
I think the answer is "Imu knew they couldn't kill Rocks." Imu's Immortality was beyond Rocks, but Rocks power was beyond Imu to take out in that moment.
Rocks, Newgate, and Kaido start beating Saturn/Imu, but, Garling has a strategy:
Garling finds Eris, then murders her in front of Rocks, and Imu Domi Reversi's Rocks.
The Celestial Dragons were starting to lose, until Garling broke Rocks' Will by murdering Eris, and then it all goes to hell.
Garling was the Champion because he murdered Rocks' wife, because he was too weak to beat Rocks' himself; the most Celestial Dragon "win" I can imagine.
God I want to watch Akainu kill a Gorosei, fuck. Kuzan would be nice, too. N-Ice. Get it??? G-ET: THERE'S THE G!!!!!!!
