After this chapter I wonder if folks will still push Dragon v Garling coz cover spread and Shamrock/Shanks connection 
Considering it looks like Sommers fate is to job to the wings, what are the chances that Garling jobs to Rocks son in Blackbeard
Also, if we're being honest Garling a Holy Knight (who are weaker than the Gorosei in the WG heirarcy) jobbing to Rocks who killed an Admiral isn't all that much of a surprise tbh.
Garling is looking like another victim of Oda's "false hype" illness.
Only ting I'll say though is that Shanks seems to have been born with extraordinary talent with the sword so that talent has to have come from somewhere. Would be mad funny if it's from Shanks mom though lol

I wouldn't count out Garling yet
Only saving grace for him would be a potential confrontation with Newgate on God Valley, but even that could very well have been a sneak of sorts. At the very least though it's evident that he isn't at the level of the very cream of the crop at God Valley in Rocks, Roger and Garp and if he's getting low diff'd/negg'd by Rocks, it'd be hard to argue he's even on the level of the likes of Newgate, Llinlin, Shiki etc.
@moreha9685 if Rocks neg diffed Garling then can we agree he's a bum?
