Fun fact: the last popularity poll was rigged with bots

Nami suddenly jumped multiple tiers in just 1 week outta nowhere

Just saying not to trust this fake ass shit

Seems legit to me
:carrocorn:

Problem is Teach himself saying everyone who joins him does so for their own freedom.

Teach is a darker reflection of Luffys theme of freedom. Both offer freedom, but Teach’s freedom brings destruction while Luffys brings liberation.
Poetic
:Tou_Cheers:

When did he have slaves?

As for the rest youre kind of reaching imo. In fullalead everyone everyone chilling and partying 24/7 for example.

Oda is very black and white when it comes to these things for example Imu literally as a move a Dominates others, his greatest fear is Nika who Liberates others. I wouldnt be surprised if Luffy could liberate people that were Domi Reversied for example.

I mean this is a centires old story of systemic oppression that people are waiting for a liberator from that we're talking about. Would be weird if BB black zetsus Imu and takes his spot. The pay off wont feels as impactful when hes defeated imo, atleast from a world POV.
On beehive with those people Koby freed from the prisons

In terms of people on beehive I'll say that the captured fellas on Foxy's crew were pretty chill about it too
If it's between being "free" under Blackbeard's banner or death I think that choice would be easy for any pirate regardless of how salty they were at being defeated. Not everyone is like Luffy after all.

Though yes Oda is very direct unfortunately

I’ll put it this way, if Imu gives power to an admiral that admiral is now stronger than all of the Gorosei

Which means base to base they’re not admiral level
We dont have enough data to know if the Gorosei arent admiral level though. I mean Saturn was weak but Id say a supreme blade user like Venus or Topman whose CoC was island wide, etc are that strong.
