I will say, if Kingdom had an art style more consistent with typical generic series like Bleach or Naruto, it would outsell prime Attack on Titan and prime Demon Slayer at the same time.

AOT had a weird art style too

But what really propelled it (outside of the dope story) is a top notch fucking banger anime

Kingdom is doomed because except its art style that is awesome but not really in line with typical shonen it also has a disastrous and unwatchable anime

Kingdom isnt popular because it has a trash anime thats why. Aot had trash artstyle in the beginng thats not the issue . The issue is because it has a bad adaptation and this issue isnt gonna get fixed.

I agree which is why I used the Berserk example as far as manga go. Berserk is more well known despite trash adaptations as well. War manga always have bad adaptations because of how busy/cluttered the scenes are.

I started Kingdom many years ago and went for the anime directly, I dropped after one or two episodes it was too much lol

i only started the manga because of WG some years later

The bad anime surely made a lot of people run away

Current Blackbeard is already stronger than Rock D. Xebec before having 2 devil fruit. Same blackbeard run away from Akaimu with his backup. Puss out on fighting Kuzan unlike Law.

Shanks is wank For reason which he will be joy boy level or even higher than Imu. Oda wank do high so to lose Blackbeard as hyperion.

Mihawk exist on Shanks feats and Zoro fears to make Mihawk fears look good.

C3 admirals are oda favorites and give excuses and has impressive DC than yonko. Old garp vs Kuzan is more impressive than GV whitebeard vs Roger and Rock D. Xebec vs Hernald. Same old garp has island level coverage fist.

So 8n my case Akainu , Kizaru, Kuzan, Shanks, Mihawk, Blackbeard, Loki are going be > Rock D. Xebec/Imu/Roger in my opinion in future. I didn't put Dragon giu because he is wild catd.

That is true, AoT had literally the best anime of all time while Kingdom’s anime is literally the shittiest thing ever. A good anime can propel a decent manga into greatness (see pre-timeskip One Piece) or a shitty series into being a top seller (see post-timeskip One Piece).

no berserk has also always had shit anime adaptations yet it's the most popular seinen so far

Kingdom is a better story imo by a hair. Berserk sometimes tries too hard to be edgy for edginess sake. Outside of the golden age arc it's also a bit overrated, Golden Age really carried Berserk's reputation.

Now....having said all that, since manga is a visual medium, Berserk is the better product.
