Zoro fighting Kaido with Luffy, Law and Kid is basically a given. We want him to have a proper 1v1 against a strong swordsman.

I don't think so, I mean there are some chances he will scar Kaido to make a parallel with both Ryuma and Oden but I (still) think his fight will be King just like Sanji's will (still) be Queen. Afterall since their introduction King and Queen screamed Zoro and Sanji.
