But Kuroobi, Bon Clay, Jabra or Wadatsumi weren't portrayed as bright individuals, so why Lafitte being smart should mean anything? Unless there's a potential narrative purpose that can somehow be tied to Sanji, it's irrelevant.

Well Should have described it differently..i referred to well thought actions that helped (Like Sanji getting the others out of Cage during arabasta or lafitte suggesting bb for warlord)

Does Laffitte hypnotizing the guards of the gates to force them into opening them, him infiltrating Marijoa to suggest Teach for the vacant warlord position not seem like a similarity?. Both are deceptive manipulators, with powers of trickery, tasked with infiltration so they can execute the plans of their captains, with bird motifs (Owl and Swan), who part of their characterization is their affinity for dancing, one tap dances the other does ballet. Do all these not ring any bells for you?.

I just checked again and he indeed uses some French names for his attacks : Soirée, Relevé, Pointe, Fouetté

it’s mainly ballet/dancing terms but it’s indeed French. I don’t know if those ballet/dance terms are used everywhere and are the technical terms everywhere and not just the French terminology

Yes, some of those are referencing Ballet steps/techniques. The naming of the steps are universally in French. Since Ballet was formalized in France. The modern form of the art comes from France but it's origins are Italian.

I don't think Sanji's AP is weak but we can't deny CL²⁴oda gave him no feats even remotely comparable to what Sai did during Dressrosa. And let's not even mention Zoro who is casually cutting through hill sized rocks.

I think this is the reason why most people see a massive gap between Sanji and Zoro: all of Sanji's feats bar Fishman Island HM are visually no different from his before-the-TS ones. IJ itself is a glorified DJ, something I'd have been OK with if it were a right out of the TS power up

Pizarro merging with Red Line could make a ton of sense narratively because destroying Red Line might be the key to unite the seas and create All Blue. Another point in favor of Sanji vs Pizarro that actually has narrative significance. I can totally picture a giant version of Pizarro made of red rock with trees on his head, with Sanji having to overcome his (relative) weakness, which is AP, to destroy Red Line, defeat Pizarro and accomplish his dream.

Certainly makes more sense than Sanji fighting a guy just because he can fly or create illusions.

Sanji has no ap issue. Get out the fan club if your own goal is to passive aggressively smear sanji with outlandish claims that have no basis in the canon.

Sanjis ap far exceeds all commanders besides zoro. Even then its close. Lets debate. Youve got the best sanji defenders attention. Lets get it bud
