After seeing BM’s performance against Garp, we can basically be assured that she would job to Sengoku.

Yeah, Sengoku not being at GV is just plot armor for the pirates, though not really, since it´s pretty reasonable that not every marine would be able to make it to GV

Not sure why you would think this, when Garling tried fighting Xebec with a demon army, while Sengoku was willing to fight Teach´s entire crew by himself....

I´m not sure how this is supposed to prove your point. He made direct eye contact with Teach, and specifically made his presence known before attacking Luffy, who clearly noticed him. And the Garp thing doesn´t really count, since his only goal was to restrain him, not attack him.

I never understood why people even downplayed Sengoku for not hurting Luffy when he didn't seem to know Luffy was immune to blunt attacks and probably didn't even use Haki in his attack there
