It is admittedly weird since sometimes Yamato is called a woman but sometimes Yamato is called a man

I'd personally refer to Yamato as a woman though, but that's because I personally believe her identifying as Oden isn't something she takes super seriously (she allows people like Luffy to call her Yamao which would normally be deadnaming)

I think Momo and Hiyori are mature enough to understand Yamato is mentally ill, from being imprisoned, and verbally, mentally, and physically abused by her alcoholic, genocidal father.
Kaido literally murdered anyone on Onigashima who fed Yamato. Her mind is MESSED UP. The whole "Oden" thing is clearly a depressed, lonely child latching onto a hero figure, and emulating them.
It makes a TON of sense that Yamato is mentally ill. Two big issues:
1. A sizeable portion of the fanbase IGNORES THIS ENTIRELY and acts like Yamato wants a penis, when what she wants is to be a Samurai, to be like Oden. Zoro, who has Shimotsuki blood, went through this with Kuina, who wanted to be a swordsman, but thought she couldn't due to her gender, and Zoro yelled her ears off.
2. Yamato still needs to get over it. She introduced herself as FUCKING KOZUKI ODEN, TO MOMO, HIS SON, WHO LOST HIS FATHER LESS THAN A YEAR AGO. That is borderline PSYCHOPATHIC behavior from Yamato. I'm hoping Hiyori/Momo can make Yamato realize, that it's fine for her to want to be a Samurai, or man, BUT, she is NOT Oden. Yamato is Yamato, and needs to live as Yamato, not pretending to be someone else.
Honestly, though, even I don't want to go back to freaking Wano, at this point.
I want to see Kaido/Linlin again, see Pluton, get lore, see Robin/Franky/Vivi interact with Pluton, but GOD I AM DONE WITH THIS FUCKING COUNTRY, Yamato's Cover Series ending with NOTHING feels like Yamato's fans getting slapped in the face with giant rotting fish dick.
