Hopefully the next chapter or two discusses the fates of everyone at GV. We know the following:


- Shanks is adopted by Roger, Shamrock isnt saved
- Whitebeard, Kaido, Linlin and Shiki at least all survive after this. All go on to have some sort of rivalry with Roger it seems. I do hope Oda closes the loop on Shiki though. Was he the previous Yonko after escaping Impel Down?
- We know Ochoku essentially keeps control of Pirate Island for the next 36 years until Blackbeard comes in to take it back. Would be nice if Oda shows us a few pages of Rocky Port Incident so we can see him either lose or die. I assume we'll get something given it closes the loop on Blackbeard acknowledging his father controlling the island 40 years prior

But we dont know

- Is this where Gansui and John die? Their bodies were eventually taken by Moria. We also know a few other big names fall with them or eventually die.
- Silver Axe's relevancy is weird given his big intro and yet he isnt utilized like Shiki has been. Does he die here too?
- Rocks' actual fate. This will definitely be answered by the flashback at least.
- Given Weevil is 35, this is seemingly were Bakkin takes Newgate's DNA so he gets cloned by Vegapunk. Wonder if Oda will show her taking his blood or something.
- How long Dragon stays a Marine, I assume this is where the rift between Garp and him begins considering Garp stays a marine even after fighting SaturnImu, which is wild tbh lol

Theres more Im definitely not thinking about, but I am curious to see how much of this he addresses.

Captain John was killed by his own crew, because he refused to share his treasure with them.

At some point John later became a pirate captain himself and managed to build a large amount of treasure. But when he decided to keep the treasure for himself rather than share it with his crew, they mutinied and stabbed him several times in the chest, resulting in his death. However, his treasure was never found and became the subject of one of the great myths. Among those who decided to look for his lost treasure was Buggy.[4]

So, we know John survives God Valley and becomes a famous captain.

We know Kyo lives, too, because of this Sengoku panel:



I believe Kyo has Urouge's Fruit, though, and will die in the future, probably in an event relating to Shiki.
