I grew up with both my parents (who have since divorced), as well as my younger brother and sister. My siblings still live with our mom, even though they’re both older than a lot of people on this forum. Conversely, I’ve lived away from all of them for a decade now

Sorry to hear it 🙁 I definitely have no contact with anyone outside of the family members listed above and only one aunt on my dad’s side. Some days, I’m not interested in talking to them either...

Well i currently stay with my partner and step son, we are going to have new family member as well.

My family are close nit people , so we stay near to each other if there is easter , christmas we do have big party.

We dont get along when there is football match btw. Older generation are girona supporters , young gen like me support madrid.

I know I'll be leaving in the upcoming years, so I really try to enjoy my time with them. We also watch a lot of football LOL

I have more aunts, uncles and cousins on each side to even count lol
And most of them live on the same street we do
There is a lot of family gatherings but i'm not a big fan of those so i try to avoid them as much as possible

for my mother side, most of her siblings Passed away 2-3 years ago ... the rest live abroad.
For my Father's side, I still have 3 uncles and 3 aunts, I'm close friends with all of my cousins, When we were little, all of our parents lets us stay at our Late grandparents House and we were raised like brothers and sisters not cousins.

I had both parents, older and Younger brother, found girl married her at my 18 birthday lived with family then moved to mom father house(we lived with grandpa in house) then brought house nearby and we setlled it, now me, my wife, 3 kids live in one house, but still have contact with family(especially mom but even more with grandpa)
