Keep in mind, a lot of this applies to Dressrosa too lmfao
Luffy meeting Kinemon, Doffy controlling he island for a decade, people beginning to hate King Riku, etc.
And both Alabasta and Dressrosa revolve around a Warlord taking over a country
Kinemon isn’t a retainer of Dressrosa. Doffys control is more akin to Enel as he forced himself onto the physical throne because he pretended to make Dressrosa a Paradise while secretly hiding a dark underside. Just like Enel.
Oda copy and pasted the narrative of Alabasta for Wano. Dressrosa just had a few elements inspired by Alabasta but the arcs are vastly different narrative wise that saying they’re the same is just dishonest.
Why?
Jack has a bounty of 1B (same bounty Law and Luffy got for taking down Doffy and Trebol), is Kaido's third strongest soldier, and has thrived in the new world for decades on end. Why should he lose to a random Vet level character all of a sudden? Kind of destroys the portrayal he's gotten.

I think that Rocks somehow will counter Domi Reversi against Imu and kinda sacrifice himself for his family, I guess that's a good way to not fuck his character entirely, his wife gonna die for sure, but BB will end up with WB.
