Jack has a bounty of 1B (same bounty Law and Luffy got for taking down Doffy and Trebol), is Kaido's third strongest soldier, and has thrived in the new world for decades on end. Why should he lose to a random Vet level character all of a sudden? Kind of destroys the portrayal he's gotten.

Indeed, i wasn't 100% sure if Roger/Xebec were swordsmen because we had only seen small flashbacks and silhouettes, but now that GV is coming to an end it's safe to say that Mihawk's agenda has officially won, it's just a matter of time before Oda decides to unleash him while we'll sit back and enjoy the global meltdown of his haters.
