People who thought Teach will fall next arc or before Raftel are about to get massive reality check
He's destined to be awaken as Davy Jones and fight IMU.
I am really curious how two poles apart characters - Davy ( being villainous D based on Xebec) and Joyboy (being a good D) actually end up fighting IMU in the past

So with Kaido saying "Roger brought the world (Imu) to it's knees with haki and no DF" I suppose we will get to see Roger actually bring Imu to his/her knees.
And the Rayleigh fan in me would very much like to see him bring demon Xebec to his knees thus deserving the nick name Dark King and eventually WSS titles. Mind you ≠ being able to dish it out doesn't mean being able to take it.
I think Rayleigh is very alike Zoro in that regard. Dangerous enough to make the likes of Big Mom, Kaido or Venus sweat bullets but unlike many others they are just normal humans so they can get their bones broken and what not. If Rayleigh really saved BB as a kid that could actually be the reason he left. Rayleigh said something to that effect with his reputation + quirk of fate enabling him to settle the matter peacefully.

Xebec lived upto his name and reputation. Just a mere threat of Xebec made IMU appear personally for him to wipe out his family and it speaks of how much of a threat Davy clan is or specifically Davy Jones was
Xebec despite not prepared held his ground against IMU.
And, Teach after he will send your fav shanks packing will get his hands over IMU

Just as Oda carefully crafted the Garp scram scene where everybody looks bad but he specifically chose to throw BM under the bus among the 3 scrammers and make her signature jobberino move look bad against Garp chujo's ACoC shield, thereby giving the message she is an ant compared to him
Oda carefully, meticulously, brilliantly crafted Sommers' character to job to the wings but where Prime Rayleigh is thrown under the bus by using a normal slash that does far far less damage to Sommers than old Gaban did, without any indication of ryou let alone conqueror's; meanwhile Oda makes sure the captain Roger is shown using ACoC haki at every step opportunity he gets. Thereby giving the message Prime Ray is an ant compared to Roger and any other ACoC user on God Valley

Teach with his yami and ancient weapon he will get hold over (I think we might see Teach working alongside WG to backstab them)
Poseidon - with her sea kings
Vivi - I think she will ally the nations affiliated with WG to work against them. She's a princess like Lily.
Lily was a D who worked against Joyboy and became part of nations which formed WG. This time, she will do something similar but opposite

Sure could be the case but my trigger that is gonna be something romantic is how much oda enjoyed writing wci despite him saying he doesn't like to write romance, I think he is sandbagging to hide the finale
