If Lulusia turns out to have been that important only in retrospect, then I'd wish Oda had never mentioned it in the first place. What's the point of making it BB's secondary homeland only after destroying it and without even showing BB's reaction to its destruction at the time? Not even a little cryptic panel to be seen as foreshadowing of this development.
we do have foreshadow,
In the ace cover story, ace arrives to lulusia and defeats blackbeard.

but it was the wrong blackbeard, this one was a doctor.

Davy Jones was the King of the Ancient Kingdom (foreshadowed by Teach wanting to become King of the World)

Joy Boy was a random kid, who grew up in the Ancient Kingdom, then sailed out to explore the rest of the world, like Luffy: a small spark, that grew into a giant flame.

The 20 Kingdoms were ruled by descendants of Gods from Nika's age, while the Ancient Kingdom was a meritocracy/diverse utopia that used advanced technology. Davy Jones and Joy Boy became friends through fighting each other, like Noland/Calgara, and Rocks/Harald.

Imu convinced Davy Jones that Joy Boy was working against the Ancient Kingdom using magic fuckery, and Davy Jones broke the promise, by going against Joy Boy's wishes and declaring war against the 20 Kingdoms. Imu used this war to pit his enemies against each other, and then take over.

Davy Jones' treasure was connected to the Kingdom, and is in "Davy Jones' Locker", where all the treasure in the world goes when it sinks. Davy Jones' Treasure is the One Piece, or a part of it.

After realizing he had been betrayed by Imu, and had failed to believe Joy Boy, Davy Jones swore his descendants would rise up against Imu, join again with Joy Boy, and defeat the World Government.

Not necessarily. Lulusia was first introduced decades ago in Ace's cover story. Was Ace there on pure luck or did he know Teach had history there?

Or it’s just “Look all these characters that you’ve been following for hundreds of chapters at this point are nothing to Imu”

Like straight up, it’s just like “I’ll put the supernova on the roof all together to fight the yonko.”

Trying to scale BM and Kaido as the strongest on GV is straight up ridiculous based on this
I already said they are not.
Logically Shiki, Ray and Gaban should be stronger especially at the time.
But Oda doesn't treat BM Kaido as nonexistent and put them in the panel of the big 6 attacking the big bad boss of the verse.

If you read how Big mom is included in the combo attack- who came right in time to aim Kaido ass primarily, it's as if Oda is forcing so he can draw 3 Yonko + Xbec Roger Garp vs Imu in one big panel
It's a portrayal focus, no matter how weak Kaido or BM would be during this age.
Being future Yonko and involvement in the core story has put them on a high pedestal already to be included in the big picture.

After making this fan art of the admirals as trainees running away from a young Mihawk real but with Garp and the yonko instead, now Oda made another one happens too but with Teach's father and the yonko again:risitavirus::risitavirus:

Admirals haters fantasies are finally happening but not like they wanted
:Kek_Ki::Kek_Ki:
We might be getting this as well just with goofy shanks and buggy instead of admirals :snoopy::snoopy:

It is the exact same? And this pedestal you’re trying to put them on is fine if you wanna discuss importance, but that doesn’t translate to a power level???

Lulusia's not fully destroyed.

We'll see Lulusia, or at least remnants of i underground, sooner rather than later.

The king of Lulusia was modeled after a vampire, and where do vampires reside? In the darkness.

Where is Davy Jones' Locker? At the bottom of the sea. Where is Lulusia now?

I want the next Cover Series to be another From the Deck of the World, and see all the islands reacting to Vegapunk's announcement and building/moving because of it.

But, a "Lulusia at the Bottom of the Sea" Cover Series would be fascinating.

What happened to it after it got Uranus'd?
