Imagine Akainu would have killed Luffy too. Do you think Sengoku would have been able to hold Garp back?
Beside of the point that i am absolutely convinced Garp would have killed Akainu in an instant, low diff or max mid diff... i guess as the friend Sengoku is to Garp, hearing and feeling his pain, he wouldnt even have tried anymore after Luffy died.
