Throwing Kaido into a mountain doesn’t hurt him — we saw Nika grab this guy with toon force and slam his head into the ground multiple times. This dude jumps off islands from 10,000 meters up. People are saying he was “defeated” just because we haven’t gotten any updates on his and Big Mom’s conditions after Xebec’s attack, since apparently they were sent flying far away. It’s like Roger using the Divine Departure against Oden— without the final part, we could’ve assumed Oden had been “defeated” too.

Everyone clashes equally with everyone in clash piece. They are all usually equal clashes and everyone is happy with being each other's equal. Don't be surprised when Buggy and Imu clashes equally in the penultimate chapter of clash piece.

It just goes to show you that quality exceeds fandoms, Pirate fans will always like trash characters written for retards, and Admiral fans will always like quality characters that transcend the meager mind of Lolda

The whole scenario is just ass tbh there's no weight or emotional build up to Roger and Garp putting Xebec down. Maybe if it was Harald it would make more since. But the entire set up is not that engaging tbh

Garp involvement also is just because "he's strong", there's no conflict with Xebec nor is it a story of a marine trying to defeat an evil pirate . You could replace him with any strong character and the impact of the fight won't change a bit.

And I still wonder why Xebec even exist. These lore drops could've been revealed in another way without wasting all this time on a last minute added character
