It seems to me both davy and JB had common enemy in imu. Both were threats to imu and his rule. For example rocks is not anti Roger or as evil as BB was. Even in mural we see a big devil which can be imu fighting joyboy and all. Both davy and joyboy had their own wills which are different sure but it remains to be seen who was bigger evil.
