Nah, God Valley itself was rushed with no special attention given to any character that isn't a D.

Likewise, almost every character besides Rocks has 1 personality trait they're allowed to show off, making them all one note.

The flash back was MF for rocks but super cut down compare to what WB get .
Personality traits we know about for other characters come from knowing them before the flashback .
Cause let be real on MF people most of WB crew did not have personality traits lol.

I was thinking about this the other day, imagine how great this flashback would be, seeing two of the biggest antagonists back when they were growing as pirates... If Linlin & Kaido weren't utterly boring villains. Seriously, substitute them with Doffy & Crocodile and this flashback would be 200% better

Roger agenda has nothing to do with Garp and everything to do with Whitebeard

If it wasn't for Whitebeard, Roger would be in the trenches rn I ain't gon hold you

But Whitebeard being the obvious strongest throughout Garp's prime and into old age, even confirmed by Garp himself by acknowledging him as the king of the seas, means Roger floor is joint first with Whitebeard.
