As good as this is, This God Valley Flashback Needed an Arc of its own tbh………. the content is too crucial to the story. Oda should’ve done a Kakashi Chronicles Type of thing for God Valley, and put it after Egghead ended. This Flashback has become something else entirely it not about Loki and Harald anymore.

I mean the Kakashi stuff was only 6 chapters long to be fair AND it happened right after Naruto left the village. So you had more of an excuse to put the story on a month long pause to show off a backstory for Kakashi before you come back with the post timeskip stuff.

I don't think we could have ever had a full in depth God Valley flashback. That would have needed to be its own arc and there is no way we were going to be away from the Strawhats for like a year lol.

Rocks’s haki shield might just be a thing he is capable of using in base form. If so thats a big upscale for Jiaga, Garling, and Harald.

I can buy it boosting the raw power of your haki, but I doubt it would make you more skilled at using it. So if Xebec really showed a new use of haki in this chapter, it's not that crazy to believe it was one of his skills.

Yeah DR strengthens your body by sacrificing your life force. It’s basically what Big Mom did to herself without the immortality. I feel like if haki was strengthened there’d be a comment about it rather than just the physical boost which is mentioned by Brogy and Imu

Yeah that makes sense, I think DR amplifies everything haki included but it would be odd if it gave him a new ability. I just think his haki was too strong for them to break through so they used all of their haki in a combo attack.

Someone like DR Xebec required absolute haki monsters to bring him down a combination of garp/Roger bringing him down. Sh are no where near this tier yet.


Considering how much imu was shaking in his boots at egghead from a simple joy boy haki release knot. I wouldn't die on this hill but to say someone or multiples with joy boy lvl haki will be more than enough for him.
