DR Xebec had no black blade

Roger is now absolutely confirmed beyond a shadow of a doubt to be a pure swordsman who truly loved his blade and couldn't create a black blade

Makes you wonder what the requirement is — is Mihawk truly the GOAT? :crazwhat:
Roger didn't forge a black blade in the same way that Kaido didn't awaken his devil fruit.

It doesn't make Mihawk > Roger. It's just an ability they couldn't access.

My point is very simple.

Luffy and Zoro got training during TS - got haki basics mastered

Luffy learnt Fs while fighting Kata. It became a training session for Luffy

Wano - both zoro and Luffy went through training ----> Haki upgrades followed

Prior training or learning is key here.

So, it's clear Xebec already had this CoC skill. One can argue that DR made it stronger if not nerfed, but he had to have this CoC skill to spam against the likes of Roger and Garp.

Arguing that a buff from IMU (well we don't even know it buffs haki) will make people jump in haki upgrades is wild
Bro no one trained Zoro how to use ACoC let alone CoC 😭 He didn't even know he had it lol.

Xebec was already clearly a haki master since he had high-level ACoC, so him awakening a new CoC power after being buffed by Imu is far more believable than Zoro awakening CoC + ACoC out of thin air, no matter how much he trained his CoA before that lol.

Or what training did Usopp have when he awakened CoO? This is a shounen bro, characters get stronger and immediately create brand new names for their new abilities as if they've had them their whole lives, I really don't understand why this is so surprising/unbelievable for you.

- Roger attacked with multiple thrusts to cut Rocks's body and Garp threw Rocks several punches at the same time (this attack is similar to Luffy's “Gomu Gomu no Gatling”).

So, the swordsman Roger's strongest attack is a cutting/slashing attack
Not only his strongest technique, practically all the techniques he uses, besides the fact that it is with the sword, but there are clowns here who will tell you no.
:risiflip:

He is beyond redemption.
Not saying he is redeemed completely but if the line Lance wrote is correct, it means Domi reversed Xebec couldn't actually overpower him and that he is the one who crashed that mountain. And Oda this chapter had to make an off panel clash between domi reversed Xebec and Roger with Garp to do the same to the other side of the mountain, so I'd say it painted him in better light powerwise compared to the previous chapter

Since I was actually right: Skysplit Is Just a visual thing and Xebec could It and didn't plenty of times, It's funny seeing you two trying to spin this :milaugh:.
The thing about sky splinting is don't even be use when characters going all out or super serious etc etc all the time.
Oda is use it because it look cool or make point that don't even matter in the long run power wise.
It's funny that the first time we see it was with Shanks and WB during a causal talk and then they did a little flex to show off with it lol.

Reborn

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One

Usopp awakened it. He didn't just outright spam it. Heck, he was even confused. And, you comparing that with what Xebec showed? Lol apple and oranges bro

And, Zoro didn't awaken CoC out of thin air. He was showing signs of having it prior to his fight against king. And, we literally saw him and Luffy training. Want me to show panels where zoro was learning how to tame Enma?

Xebec outright used this coc skill without any confusion or suprise or anything else... there is no awakening here ....as Xebec wasn't portrayed shocked or confused.

He just spammed it when Roger and Garp attacked him.

I would think it’s new because “he’s blocking” is one thing, but canceling is another.
Okay would it be fair to describe Zoro tanking King’s jackpot explosion as “Zoro canceled out the Explosion”? I mean the attack literally left nothing on Zoro completely. Like as if nothing happened

would that be a fair statement to make or is there a difference between “Zorp canceled out the explosion” and “Zoro blocked the explosion”
