G5 didn't skysplit vs Kaido but a much weaker version of Luffy did it.
You all have lost your mind with God Valley primes and sky split.
Because Oda already showed Kaido and Luffy could do it narratively so every clash doesn't need to split the sky anymore. Sky splits happen in the initial clash at the start of a fight and then the fight occurs. Kaido and Luffy split the sky at the start of their fight once Luffy came back as a top-tier.
If there was no sky split on GV you guys could've had an argument. Hell, if there was a sky split between two individuals then you could've had an argument.
But the fact that the sky split only occured when Garp and Roger combined forces means that narratively, they are unable to sky split individually. Why would you ever assume otherwise?
If sky splits only happen at the starts of fights, and prior to this point, everyone clashed with Xebec individually without sky-splitting, then it's because they couldn't. Then, once Roger and Garp teamed up, Roger vs Xebec and Garp vs Xebec ended and it became the start of Garp + Roger vs Xebec. Only
then, did the sky-split happen then the joint fight occur afterwards. The narrative is genuinely being shoved in our faces lol.
