Mihawk might deadass just be possessed. Blackbeard someone who likely has (at least) 2 souls in order to eat 2 fruits has normal eyes. The other personality probably only activating when he’s asleep. Something he doesn’t do much of

When Saturn and Imu lose themselves to Imu they have the same eyes and completely lose themselves

I made a theory years ago about the ties between Blackbeard and cavendish

What if blackbeard and Cavendish have the same ability?
We know that Cavendish has a weird split personality where everytime he sleeps hakuba takes over. So yeah what if teach is the same way?

What we've been told about blackbeard

1. He doesn't sleep
2. Has a irregular body for some reason
3. Able to eat 2 devil fruit
4. Scarred shanks even before he ate any devil fruit

If he had his own "hakuba" it might be able to explain all 3 things together

1. Doesn't sleep because he can't control the other personality, is scared of it, or maybe just because the other personality wants to stay hidden so it doesn't let him sleep
2. His irregular body might be due to it holding 2 different personalities or even souls
3. Maybe due to him having 2 souls hes able to eat 2 fruits somehow
4. With how clumsy and reckless teach is maybe it wasn't normal teach but the other personality

Tho with blackbeard's flag having 3 heads maybe he has a 3rd personality as well. That or when both work together it counts as another head


Meaning Cavendish might be able to eat 2 devil fruits as well

Even longer ago a thread on mihawk and cavendish’s eyes on how they might be possessed by their blades in some way.

Quick theory but i think characters with more than 1 eye ring might carry multiple souls. (At least humans)

1. Mihawk - potentially sharing his body with yoru
2. Cavendish - hakuba might be do to durandal trying to take over his body since he hasn't been strong enough to wield it
3. Imu - might be from the void century and if so taking over others body to live longer orochimaru style would make sense
4. Kaido - when in what i believe to be his awakened form (when his face changes) probably sharing his body with his fruit. Potentially why awakening zoans are so dangerous for the user since the fruits soul might take over completly
5. Luffy - i think it might be something similar to kaido and other awakened zoans but the soul of the fruit and soul and body of the person who ate it fit so well it's basically a perfect match. Giving luffy an extra thicc eye ring exept 2 separate ones

We know that Blackbeard’s ship is called the saber of xebec obviously named after his father’s sword. So what if Blackbeard is literally possessed by his father’s blade somehow. How did it happen idk but still its between his mother, xebec himself, or his blade

We know Ace was named after Roger’s sword so Blackbeard being even more connected to his fathers could make sense imo

As for mihawk it likely has to do with his something he faced early on in his career as a pirate. What idk but he deadass might be a sword man if yoru did take over

Technically speaking, Dr. Xebec caught Kaidou off guard and attacked him, then immediately went after Big Mom as well — both of them still confused, not even understanding what had happened with Xebec. Kaidou was completely taken by surprise, yet this chapter showed that he withstood the attacks without any real issue. 99% of the chapter was Dr. Xebec overwhelming Garp and Roger in a 1v2, which means Kaidou and Big Mom are actually fine — after all, Garp and Roger were dominated too.

I know lunarian powers don't make any sense, King barely used his hybrid form, Zoro's finishers are all identical and King had not just 1 but 2 sets of useless wings , still Zoro vs King is much more enjoyable than any fight where haki is the only thing that matters.

Rokushiki, some martial art or certain DFs make physical fighters interesting to me. Garp, Roger, Rayleigh, Gaban, Shanks, Mihawk, Coby are all hakimen. Lame hakimen
