The chapter doesn't look too bad by the looks of it. For a flashback chapter Oda really attempted to draw something. Unfortunately haki first fighting styles are going to be limited af visually for Oda.

Honestly good because if he didnt and stayed or at least didnt feel an ounce of ownership to protect the Marine then it would be been dumb.

Its like us the readers discovering Imu during the Reverie. Knowing about Imu doesnt change the fact that they dont even know what he is or how to overcome him

What shocks me is that Roger did not stand out from Garp, like AT ALL. There's no way to read this and think Roger looked better than Garp even through cope lenses.
Heck Garp doesn't have a scene like this in this chapter lol
