I liked their interactions in this chapter. Shame Luffy doesn't have this type of dynamic with anyone. In a good timeline Smoker could've been his pseudo Garp.

A very good chapter. It seems COC coating was the reason for DR Xebec's durability, like many predicted. R.I.P., Rocks. I think this flashback settles it that Blackbeard will also have Conqueror's Haki coating. Can't wait for Elbaf to resume.

Well knowing Oda we should have seen it coming. We should know by now how he does things. I started to soften my stance on Garp relative to Roger and WB for a couple years now.

Maybe not the strongest in a duel, but he certainly had the strongest pirate crew ever. He was the PK before Roger. A true legend.
