Controversial Elon Musk set to become the first trillionaire.

I will just drop this question here for those that think evil billionaires don't end world hunger because they are greedy bastards:

How much would each person in the world get if we divided 1 trillion dollars by 8 billion people?
125usd, crazy amount for someone in 3rd world country tbh but you're dividing it by 8 billion. Not every single person on the planet is suffering from starvation.

Googled it and apparently in 2024, it was 673 milion people. Still a lot. 1 trillion divided by 673 milion is about 1500USD. Idk what was the point but i think you can buy a lot of food for it.

The point is that bellies go hungry every day. The likes of Elon took a lifetime to accumulate all that wealth. The best they can do is solve the hunger for a couple of days and then go bankrupt. Nobody has the money to fix the hunger issue.

Some of it can be fixed. Lots of it is due to conflicts aka war and genocide which goes beyond just sending food to fix it.

The guy might become a trillionaire and doesn't give a penny.

Anyway you won't fix global issues with only a billionaire or even 10 of these cunts.

No human should possess that much wealth. Bring in the socialists.
We are in late stage Capitalism . Indeed these billionaires live their own alternative reality time to bring these greedy folks down to bin .

Whenever they give a penny, it is to get tax cuts. So in the end they still end up with more than they give. Nothing is free with this type of dudes.

There is another way to look at it. These people have way more than they need. After the first few millions, there is practically not much difference between Elon Musk and the millionaire. You can only eat so many steaks a day.

Its time the rich paid up

Yeah, because this worked so well in the past.:seriously:
Are you a millionaire or something? Why would someone oppose taxing the rich unless they are super wealthy themselves?

Im actually not against billionaires (governments have 10s of trillions of dollars so individuals having a tiny portion of that isn't really a big deal) provided there's bans on political bribes/lobbying (there isn't).

But I don't think people realize how much a trillion actually is. That's getting to the point where you have similar wealth to a state and just you moving around can destroy economies (historically it's like Mansa Musa causing insane inflation in local towns just by visiting and spending - and btw he wasn't even a full trillionaire adjusting for inflation).

Should people with comparable wealth to a sovereign that can destroy your economy casually exist? Obviously not lmao

I don't understand. What's his bounty?
Best post.

Engineered wars to keep the world in a state of constant conflict.
They want not only our money but our land, health and happiness too. Bloodsuckers.

Trillionaires exist
Lobbying aka bribing politicians is legal
Democracy/Republics exist

You can only pick two
None

"He succeeded, therefore I can succeed! Meritocracy babyyy!!"

Yeah, because this worked so well in the past.:seriously:
You are right, let's bring communism or anarchism instead

I mean Elon is very wealthy and influential so him being the first trillionaire is not surprising. In fact, I'm more surprised that he isn't one already.
Elon's bounty is like Buggy's. If you look at the actual production of his companies, it doesn't even make a dent in the global economy, but his followers have formed a cult convincing themselves that this guy is the tech messiah.

It’s funny how this is a clear ego trip

anyways capping people’s wealth is cringe, but bootlicking rich people so even more cringier. Just have these losers pay their fair share like the rest of us

The problem with world hunger isn’t money, it’s logistics.
