Powers & Abilities So When Are We Getting Logia Awakenings

People say stuff like “we’re not even sure if logias can awaken.”

But if you go though every discussion of awakenings in the entire story, it’s never singled out to just Zoans and Paramecias. There’s 0 reason to think that the other two classes would get it and not logias.

I can see only two possibilities:
1. Oda is lazy and is going to kind of just ignore it (very possible)

2. it’s being saved for someone specific (Dragon? Akainu?) to distinguish them from other top tiers

3. the DC/AOE is substantial that Oda won’t use it until we have a massive war in multiple territories

Neither of the 3.
They will get it when it is time for their spotlight.
Oda has been staying away from logias because there arent too many of them.
And people will get disappointed once their Awakenings are shown.
Just like they were disappointed by prime Pirate King.

A genius like Vegapunk being able to clone perfect mythical zoan fruits and copy paramecia abilities but not being able to do the same with logia is extremely suspicious.
Punk Hazard is not possible with the current known abilities of logia. throwing daifunka or ice ball at each other even for 10 days straight would not permanently alter an island shape and climate.
Oda is likely waiting for a big fight involving a logia that isn't 80% off-screen.

If you are paying attention to the manga (hard thing, so many pictures and pages) almost every apperance of the admirals had the stipulation of not going all out as an order or a plot reason they cant.

Kizaru is reprimanded doing a average kick, destroying the treet at sabody
Whole Marineford
Fuji Sandbagging (and end of the arc displaying that he could have destroyed Dressrosa faster and easier than Doffy)
Fuji and Aramaki not able to go all out on Mary joa

Kizaru having the orders to not damage the stratospwhere and being emotional not in the right mind

Logical conclusion is they need a extended battlfield that is no more WG affiliated/they dont give a fuck, which most likely will only happen in the final arc

Actually, it is funny you brought up Doflamingo, as I believe Luffy said his power was now looking more like a Logia.

Raigo Island is always covered in lightning -> probably caused by a user of the lightning fruit

Also, maybe if there's something of their element already there, like Kuzan fighting near an iceberg, they can take that substance and control it how they see fit.

So, Ace/Sabo turning a small fire into a giant conflagration, for example.

You can't just do logia awakenings willy nilly

if they are the island wide permanent transformation, then everyone on the island would be dead

So, it's prolly gonna be showed in a 1 v 1 fight on some deserted island
