im just saying Kaido wouldn’t get traumatized for 20 years by an attack that just tickled him
Oda didn’t hype up this one attack for like nearly 100 chapters for us to come away thinking it wasn’t devastating
Roger and WB would do rocks’ CoC shielding and cancel out Oden’s attacks.
You’re gonna say “well Kaido can also just use haki for defense” and my question is why didn’t he? Huh? Why not? We’ve seen Kaido fight for like at least 20 chapters if we combined his Luffy fight with his supernovas fight with his scabbards fight and even with his Yamato fight.
the man simply doesn’t use Haki defense. Who knows why. I don’t know, he doesn’t. That’s just factually true.
so if we compare Kaido’s defense that he always uses, which is just his Dragon scales versus the level of defense Roger and Whitebeard would use which is CoC shields and Sword blocking, I bet Kaido would go down faster than Roger and Whitebeard

I mean oden was the first to ever scar Kaido permanently. Even rookie Kaido was not scarred by DR amped xebec's attacks.
Luffy's haki is up there on sky split level and nothing states oden's haki is much superior to Luffy's. Kaido should be able to take bunch of attacks from oden as well. For that matter oda even referenced oden with G4 luffy during over kong gun attack.

I thoroughly disagree. Both from the framing of the scene and the fact that This one attack traumatized Kaido for decades, I think Kaido would go down in less than 5 hits
Therefore Kaido isn’t actually a tank, he was just fighting weaklings all throughout Wano
