It's hard to have any real thoughts when his character, personality and history are still so mysterious, so I'm neutral at this point.

I will be a massive hater if he steals Blackbeard's role as the final villain though.

We don't much about him so we can only judge him on the few things we've seen so far. Which is his actions and his powers.

Not a fan of what we saw so far. Regen merchant, very boring powers.

I’m conflicted. On one note is a really one dimensional, cartoonish, almost caricatural villain… on another, they really have that invincibility aura: genuinely scary and intimidating.

Yet another god complex megalomaniac with false divine/demon imagery in Japanese media. Nothing original about him.

And he looks like one of those whacky waving arms inflatable tube men you see outside car dealerships. He doesn't even look scary.

Imu is the leader of the Five Elders, who were introduced early on in the story.

Doflamingo and Kuma were introduced in the same chapter, 233.

There were no interactions at the time, but turns out those two warlords fit with Imu's story.

Doflamingo is in prison while Kuma is the one who has freedom, which means Kuma won.

Both were kings, while Imu is a king, and he organizes the Levely.

Royalty is a big theme with these characters, Imu wanting to rule over Elbaph is unnecessary.

Imu's main enemy can be Blackbeard, as he might be a perfect fit for king of Elbaph after witnessing the current flashback.

Imu's interest in Vivi can be in line with his Royalty ambitions regarding Elbaph.

The previous king had two sons. Two princes in waiting.
Both Loki and Hajrudin can become king.

No need to drag BB into the Elbaf royalty (with which he shares zero blood, btw). He has Beehive to upgrade to the status of WG allied member.
