Hot take, the dark blue hair looks good and better than the black and white would have, which would have been too much contrast really.

The dark blue makes his hair look like lighting

A randomly introduced fodder isn’t the key to the last poneglyph LOL. It’s either Xebec or a completely new character. Oda might have even borrowed elements from the Black Pearl lore in Pirates of the Caribbean. The man with the burned scar is also sailing on an all-black ship, and the Black Pearl itself once escaped Davy Jones’ locker.

Xebec really was like Shanks to Luffy

I originally thought it was simple idolization from a distance but nah

Loki had a genuine connection with him before he died. That makes everything about his character make way more sense

Yeah Oda isn’t gonna give a fish man that much love lol but honestly I’d rather rocks dead,if he was alive it wouldn’t explain why he didnt just continue his goal of being king of the world I do wish he saw his wife and kid one last time.

We have Davy Jones matter now, wouldnt it make more sense to think of the Flying Dutchman?
For all we know its the same idea even. You cant enter land and are cursed to sail the sea for all eternity.
Oda could just merge the two.

Rocks been going there for years and years talking to harald .
It would suck if Oda did not show they had a true connection so happy he did .

So it look like he was out of DR but had no one there to help him like roger and garp .
