Read... the damn... article and don't let me think that you are all too lazy or stoopid to understand it:

No thanks. If the options are between people who don’t think parents need to ask a toddler for consent to change their diaper, and people who write articles arguing that you should, I’d rather be called stupid and lazy on an online forum than read anything written by the latter group of people :pepelovesfu:

The title is click bait. Its about teaching kids early about consent, but they turn away like 95% of people with the fake title.

70 to 80 % of this forum would benefit trying to challenge their values and preconception.

Still a fucking retarded article
An article explaining that it's important to create a space for children to learn about their agency and consent and thus their limits and also important for parents to learn that their children are human beings with agencies and not tools to be used or control? R*tarded?

Ableism aside. Please, don't have kids.

that's a normal thing for parents to teach their kids

you don't need experts for this unless you don't even know basic parenting
It's not only for children, but for parent to learn to. And no, that's not a "normal thing" to teach, it's not something parent even care to teach. If that was the case, reactionaries in this thread wouldn't be shocked by people teaching kids about consent at school.

Yeah no shit, more like 95% of them would benefit (including you btw)

No one cares bro if you want to explain that it's important to create a space for children to learn about consent, and you title your article "Why you should ask for consent before changing diapers" you're fucking retarded

And this isn't ableism because everyone understands that "retarded" is a homonym. Special needs folks are some of the most inspiring people you can meet and I would never call them that word. That would be indeed ableist.

But everyone understand what I mean when I call this article fucking retarded and using the labeling card isn't gonna work here lol

I don't see why. The assertion is legit. As in this case, asking for consent in that context will prepare the parent. It's your fault to think that it was for the kid first.
