When I talked about Sanji kicking a laser, it was to make a point about how it's very unlikely it's just a gag and he can't actually use it himself (which I assume is what he meant when he called it a gag, since what happened with Kuma proves it's a thing). It doesn't matter whether it's haki-related, it's still obvious Sanji can use it. And we already know it's not CoC.

Xebecs CoC didn’t keep out the attacks, it just deactivated the CoC from the attacks. We see Garps and Roger’s attack making contact with him even with that CoC barrier

Haki doesn't have to mean CoC. Haki in general is already willpower and emotion-based in nature, and we know any living being has haki, but not everyone has CoC. So what happened with Kuma could very well be a haki-related thing, but since we know he doesn't have CoC, it means PoL isn't CoC.

Moreover I’m not really sure where this nonsensical notion that PoL is CoC is coming from. Is Firefox style CoC?

Because that characteristic is one that gives them an immense amount of willpower (and Haki is willpower).
