Is Oda going to explain why Rocks knew some things and not other things?

It seems that Rocks didn’t even know about the Nika fruit so it seems that wasn’t one of the two fruits he needed to beat Imu.

how does Rocks even have a plan to beat Imu that involves legendary fruits and he has no idea about the Fruit Imu and the government fear the most.

will Oda ever explain any of this?

Nikas legend is thousands of years old it’s not impossible for them to be more knowledgeable about him considering a average life span for a giant is around 250-300 years old ten generations would be a couple thousands of years for them.

The world government hid the existence of the Nika fruit no one but them knew the gum gum fruits actual name it wasn't revealed to be the Nika fruit until recently, I'm sure he's heard of the gum gum fruit but just brushed it off as a fruit that turns you rubber. the legendary fruit of elbaf might be an entirely seperate fruit.

same with the one piece, Roger was seemingly the first person in 800 years to find the treasure joyboy left behind so of course Rocks wouldn't know about it.

As for how he knows about imu, maybe stories passed down the family he was a descendant to Davy Jones, we don't know if Davy and Joyboy where even alive in the same Era, just that Imu had beef with them both, so Rocks may not have even heard of joyboy or his treasure even if his family passed down the imu legend it might of just been what the davy clan knows

of course this is all speculation and assumptions, Oda could just as well be a hack and left a plot hole but I think my explantion makes sense

Rock’s plan to kill Imu involved getting specific legendary dfs that are required to beat Imu

somehow the Nika fruit isn’t one of the fruits Rocks wanted since Rocks had no idea what Nika is

yet in the story, the Nika fruit is the one fruit Imu actually fears

I think Oda will maintain Roger being the first to learn all the truths of the world. Other people like Rocks, Vegapunk, Blackbeard, Cobra, the giants will have pieces of the puzzle, some larger than others, but only Roger got the full picture.

For Rocks, almost certainly he learned from family tales and maybe some evidence like the Harley on his home on God’s Valley. It’s actually interesting that despite all we’ve seen from him we are missing the most interesting part of his life- what led him to the Flower Room in the first place.

It simply means Nika fruit is not necessary for beating Imu.

We will see. Nika fruit makes sense given it's MC's fruit and imu feared joyboy who had nika DF as well.

It actually felt like Nika's existence has been smudged so thin, nobody knows what Nika looks like or what kind of power did Joyboy held. Then other rumours start to mix Elbaph's fruit into the idea and taking shape as an whole different thing.

The giants thought Nika is a destroyer as we have seen Luffy isn't a destroyer, but could be the Loki's fruit that they are talking about.
