@ZenZu Isn’t the fact that all Admirals are above 40 when they get their rank proof that Oda thinks characters should peak in their 40s? You could argue that the C3 were only that old when they got their rank because they had to climb up the Marine hierarchy, but that excuse wouldn’t work for Fuji and Ryo, who both got drafted straight into the Admiral rank.
Also, it doesn’t matter that Aramaki is only barely above 40, all that really matters is that the second digit is 4 or 5.
