Being the "embodiment of strength" doesn't mean you can't have equals. Kaido was called that too and yet Big Mom, Shiki, Shanks, Mihawk, etc. are all on his level or very slightly above.

The point is pretending you're making some writing analysis because a character made a stupid decision thus he's a trash written character. When the series is filled with characters who you love and support making idiotic decisions left and right.

The difference is that Oden constantly made the most brain numbing decisions and still got his dick sucked by most of the characters in his story. He gets praise despite never earning it.
