You still arent addressing the blatant fact that Luffy does and will not punch in a victims face, which Gunko is. This is not a legitimate fight, of which Luffy has one every arc, including Egghead where he does exactly this to Saturn.
And I cant see why Shamrock cant lose here. Luffy is a Yonko. Before him are very few people who can stand up to him.

Whitebeard would've succeeded if Ace didn't go back to fight like an idiot, Whitebeard also didn't have time to go around the world asking for help and his men all came willingly, Ace's execution was in the near future.
Oden had the luxury of time and also at that moment he probably had an advantage when it comes to power, but instead of fighting and winning, he choose to risk the fate of his country on the words of criminals that couldn't believe how gullible and naive he is.
As I said, if my whole town and I were captured by a notorious criminal and he told you that he'd free me if you dance like a clown for 5 years, please don't choose to do that and let my family and friends suffer for ages, at that point I'd consider my life is over anyway.
