In fact, we see Saint Shanks in Chapter 0 looking much younger than a 24 year old looking for a crew of his own, and also based on the pages Oda designed for the Red movie, Saint Shanks had no scars on his face when he formed his crew. Oda literally destroyed the timeline. Saint Shanks lived with Garling for nearly 7 years, and we thought he only went to MG for a short visit. The discrepancy is greater than I thought.
Unless Saint Shanks was secretly looking for a crew for himself, which doesn't make sense.

1. Film Red isnt canon nor are the scenes for it.

2. We have no idea how long he was a god knight, but we also have zero idea when he formed his crew. Canonically nothing in this story implies Saint Shanks formed his crew 20 years ago. I was just guessing. If he only finds them 14 years ago then thats not unheard of. Its never stated when Yasopp abandons his family. Its just at "least" when Usopp is younger than 8, aka 10 years ago since he meets Luffy.

And he looks very similar in Chapter 1082 and Chapter 0 lol? He's the same age regardless of how Oda draws him

Another way to look at this chapter is Saint Shanks went to MG when he was 23 or 24 and left when he was 25. We need more information on whether Saint Shanks lived with them for several years or for a short period of time because this chapter contradicts Shamrock's statement.
