What was the last movie you watched?

Kizaruber Eats

Loki is burdened with glorious purpose.
Just watched the new Running Man and Now You See Me films. Wicked fun films, cheered me up a lot. Just simple great action, style, charisma, humour, acting and plot twists.

Quite a sad moment in NSYM3 though, completely understandable why they did it but still pretty sad. Huge spoiler for the franchise too but loved the ending and sequel hook.

I love when movies aren't afraid to have fun and not take themselves far too seriously. Life is miserable enough as it is.

The Ip Man movies (I recommend the first 2), Fist of Legend, Fearless, Kung Fu Hustle (if you want a funny one).
Watcged Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer.
Probably should have mentioned those I watched:
The Bruce Lee catalogue
Jackie Chan catalogue
The Forbidden Kingdom
A few Jet Li films, the names of which escape me rn

FUCKING EPIC CHOICES DUDE. I LOVE those films! You may like Shaolin Girl too? It's a weird concept for a movie but it's quite nice, with a badass theme song and it's kinda like a female focused Shaolin Soccer but a different sport instead.

The Forbidden Kingdom
Oh man that takes me back, I used to love that film too.

Guys and girls, I have a serious kung fu itch but don't know how to scratch it properly.

Please recommend me your favorite kung fu movies to watch and relax to!
Watch some Jackie Chan Adventures, AIIIIYAAAAAAAAA NIIIIKAAAAAAA!!!!

Jackie Chan's The Medallion and Twin Dragon films were pretty fun imo. Only just remembered them now after many, many years lol.

Have you seen Bulletproof Monk by any chance? The Golden Child with Eddie Murphy too? I still need to see the film he did with Arnie Schwarzenegger, I think it was based on The Nutcracker of all things? (They definitely would crack "a lot of nuts" too lmao). I remember it being unvailable outside of China for a long time or so.

(Kung Pow is not for proper kung fu action ofc but its fucking hilarious and stupid as hell, absurdism done perfectly.)

Kung Fu films are not my expertise exactly but if you want some great martial arts films, there's Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Jet Li's Hero, maybe The Myth by Jackie Chan (really beautiful, heartfelt, tragic romance film too with an amazingly beautiful, powerful song in it with him and a Korean singer IIRC), House of Flying Daggers etc.

Remember that scene from Tropic Thunder? "We don't have many luxury here. Simple Jack is the only movie we have."
Well my friend had a handful of movies, one of which was the Forbidden Kingdom which we used to watch on a weekly basis (elementary schoolers, mind you, important for the next part) and we would reenact the whole movie start to finish in our backyards lmaoo

"Now do movie!"
"-The whole movie?!"

That's us lol

LMAO thats a hilarious mental image, Tropic Thunder was absolutely unhinged in the best and worst ways possible too.

Thats also a really wholesome story, recreating the movie like that must have been really fun lol. The good old days of roleplaying or w/e. Me and my friends used to quote and act out Kung Pow and Shrek religiously so I can relate.

Zootopia 2.

A really nice movie, strong in its animation, music and humor, with the twist with the villain being much better than in most previous Disney movies. The details with all the animals are very entertaining to see once again.

Disney can make really good stuff with the right people, though once again the marketing was lacking.

It was about a month and a half ago, but Tron: Ares was a predictable, forgettable experience, and even a seven-year-old could have seen the ending coming from a mile away.

The bigger problem is, most Hollywood movies barely even tick a blip on my radar anymore because somehow, I can already tell from a glance that the vast majority of them are going to end up being snoozefests.

damn rough to hear. i was considering it after falling in love with the original Tron film but CSM Reze has wooed me away the past 2 months lol

You seriously watched the Reze Arc movie 10 times?

Bring that same energy when the Infinity Castle sequel comes out because that movie is guaranteed to be 🔥

Ideally, you shouldn't miss watching it on its opening night.
I watched Infinity Castle Part 1 first actually but after 1 watch, i got what i needed tbh (also 2 hr 30 min is a lot lol)

CSM Reze no matter how many times I watch makes me want to watch over and over still. great animation, music and voice acting (for the japanese dub side)
