It’s kinda shocking how they’re doing such a bad job with an easy franchise and game style. The Warrior games used to flood the market with how easy they are to make and One Piece’s version has a lot less depth to it than your standard Warrior title.

PW5 should’ve come out post-Wano considering PW4 is essentially just Op around Tottolanda era.

The main flaw for both 3 and 4 was trying to adapt the story of the arc the anime was in when it was first developed before it was done. Like, 4 was about when Kaido first beat Luffy, and you can tell, as Onigashima in the game is not even close to how it was in the manga.

That said, I feel like Koei may have learned it's lesson as it's doing all this stuff because Egghead hasn't finished in the anime yet.

Yeah it came out right with Act 1 ending, the heavy focus on Tottoland era characters makes that clear

tbh I always wondered why the casts have been so small, especially for the pre timeskip

Oh, that's fairly simple. All the East Blue underlings, minus Hatchi (who was a NPC), and Cabaji and Mohji (who weren't even that tough in their arc) never appeared after the titular Blue. No reason to add them.

Now, I feel like Mr. 5 at least should be in whenever they ads Whiskey Peak and Little Garden.

Wapol's two guys, who cares.

For Enel, they kind of have Wyper start off as another enemy. Though I wager Ohm being in wouldn't hurt.

Then Kaku, Jabra and Blueno are in.

Thriller Bark, maybe have Ryuma now that they have Samurai npc's.

They don’t even have Daz and Bonclay, do they?

Enel looks so fun to play as
King looks like he’s got some fun combos but is unfortunately a flying type?

Which is ironic because his wings don’t actually give him flight
Enel = Technique
Zephyr = Power
King = Sky (Makes sense imo)
though wish he'd have a form change where he turns into a speed type

It only makes sense for his zoan and hybrid forms, the Vc confirmed his wings aren’t able to fly

Enel as technique sucks, power and speed are the only good categories
