Might make sense for Hajrudin to think he could contend with Loki with that logia he wanted (fire giant vs. fire itself). I do, however, agree that if he transformed that way he probably would destroy the castle. It still leaves a mystery with those claw marks, too.

And Loki probably didnt even utilize the full powers, just incinerated Harald to dust.
Him being massive AF could be a literal plot point if you remember that Rocks said that DF only reaches its full potential if Harald eats it.

Why Harald? Because he is an Ancient Giant. The biggest humanoid in the world.
If a normal person ate it, he would probably turn into a fire giant of the size similar to Loki/Harald at best.
However, if Loki/Harald ate it, they would further increase in size, maybe even capable of wielding the huge sword stuck in Elbaf.

Well that's the thing it got hyped as " if Harald eats it it would be the end of the world " so you'd expect something really devastating gura gura level, to have something like that i think eating it and turn Harald to dust without destroying at least the whole castle would require quite a bit of mastery of the DF i feel Loki's first use of the DF should be kinda clumsy and the point of the FB was to explain how to use CoC to properly injure the HK i'd be surprised if it's Surtur's DF tbh
