We're in a world where people use ropes and bamboo sticks as weapons. Why can't beans can't used as projectiles and still be valid as weapons in a world like this?

Bear in mind, the opening fight involved Cracker demonstrating extremely durable biscuit armour.

That bean no doubted travelled at the speed of a bullet, it just wasn't fast enough.

Whole Cake Island was actually the first time we got a power creep for Sanji since the timeskip, but dodging bullets wasn't a part of that. He could do that pres-skip, and then some.

Post-skip, he can't even be got by snipers when he's goofing off.
