What was the last movie you watched?

Devilbat

Just chill and let chill
What a coincidence, I have also watched it today!
I'd say I liked it more that Glass Onion, but the OG Knives Out is still my fav.
Here I liked the mystery and the main character is quite compelling, but it has a very strong focus on a religion/faith theme, with a good priest vs evil priest moral duel which felt a little too dragged out to me at times. While the main cast is great, the supporting characters fell flat to me sometimes. Blanc still delivers, love his quirkiness.
I would probably rate it 7.5/10.

Good for my taste, some did not like it as much as the previous ones as it's different.. But nonetheless it feels like a Agatha Christie mystery so can definitely try.

I usually ain't a fan of religious stuff in movies, but here I think it did fine, idk whether Christians find it offending at certain places, but overall the important characters and their devotion to religion was handled well, in fact I would say it had the best scene for me in the three movies.

Watched Marty Supreme the other day

Went in thinking I wouldn’t care for it and it might actually be the best movie I saw in 2025 lol

Wake Up Dead Man? It’s pretty entertaining imo
Marty Supreme was amazing, I didn't review it here but I'd give it a 5/5.

Running man (2025): not sure what they tried to do here. Mix of action, drama and comedy but in the end none of it worked out. The movie managed to be too long and too rushed at the same time.

Can Hollywood just make a godamn action movie and stop trying to lecture us on things they obviously don't give a fuck about?

Its Not just their Product but based on a book

Apocalypto: it was a rewatch but what a movie !
You don't even need to understand anything that they're saying to understand the movie.

Great action scenes, the final chase is phenomenal. And it ends perfectly.
Best adjective to use for it is undermentioned (not really underrated since most of those that watch it do rate it highly). That movie needs to be highlighted more often.

"Rain man" (1988) - 4.5/5

Hoffman at the top of his game with a great dramatic performance from Cruise. Hope he starts doing these kinds of films again and leaves action behind.

Watching ghostbusters frozen empire. Incredibly dull so far unfortunately. It ironically feels frozen stiff. They even made a stranger things reference subtly and it just feels like ghostbusters meets stranger things and created blander things.

Boring characters and no charisma. Idk if he was like this before but Ray was an extreme asshole here too. I love Paul rudd but he feels heavily wasted here.

The first of these successor films was also dull for me but I loved the og ghostbusters reunion with the Harold Ramis tribute. Made me extremely emotional. I used to be Ghostbusters obsessed as a kid but ironically my Ghostly ass feels exorcised by the vapid snoozefest these films are.

I was hyped with the frozen theme but the plot is so lukewarm at best, so static, so plodding along with characters less spicier than fucking room temperature water, it's making me turn ghost in rage and disappointment.

Pretty visuals and I guess great atmosphere (atmosfear) pun intended, but I feel I'd only ever watch these again if my life literally depended on it, gun to my head or whatever but if it was the absolutely narcissistic, insufferable, gross, perverted, abusive etc all female reboot flop, I'd ask them to shoot the TV and then me immediately in desperation and make me turn ghost for real. I need ptsd compensation for that travesty of a film.

The Spy who loved me. 8/10

The quintessence of the Roger Moore's era for James Bond with Moore's suave charisma and dry wit and sense of humor.

The film doesn't take itself too seriously, has the memorable Lotus submarine car, some awesome music, and has perhaps the best James Bond villain's lair in Stromberg's Atlantis and its many traps, aquariums, submarines, buttons and shark tanks, and of course my favorite James Bond villain in Jaws, played wonderfully by Richard Kiel, with his huge size, superhuman strength, steel teeth and indestructible status.
