Absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence.
Just like Shiki suddenly got Kyo as a rival out of nowhere. It's not about legal obligation lol, It's Oda's consistent pattern for years: Zoro and Sanji never face opponents who sync or team up together at least without clashing. This dynamic almost never changes especially post TS, which is one of the biggest criticisms Oda receives. He could break it in this arc sure, but the long established pattern remains a strong hint that Zoro probably won't fight someone who works in tandem with Sanji's opponent. The claim that Loki is "the only one who has a known method to fight Imu" isn't even true, but it's irrelevant to the point anyway
I can agree to disagree on this one tbh, I don´t have much to say except that Oda hasn´t really introduced the dynamic this arc, for whatever reason, though I don´t think this means much in and of itself.
Loki is indeed the only character we canonically have a confirmation that can fight Imu, since he has one of the fruits Rocks wanted. But I guess that isn´t relevant so again, agree to disagree.
I'm not aware on whether Oda explicitly said or hinted that Elbaf wraps up this year for the SH to head straight to Lodestar or Laugh Tale by the end of it
At jump fasta, during last december
Honestly, GV has already done irreversible damage to the HKs.Explain how losing to a powered up Usopp makes someone less of a threat or cant be taken seriously, )
I see your point, but it kind of is what it is at this point? Oda has a massive bias for good guy characters, and is willing to screw over the image of villains. This even applied to someone like Kaido, becoming an Oden victim in the Wano flashback. It gets even worse when a villain isn´t going to fight Luffy, at that point Oda cares very little about protecting their hype. Regardless, the pirates on GV who beat the HK and later on are still some of the strongest of all time, Rocks, Rayleigh, Roger/Gaban etc. Very few among our main cast will ever be on that level.
would you say the same about the BB Pirates if Usopp supposedly defeats Van Augur? Also one of your main points is Oda wrapping things up quickly since Laugh Tale and the final war are near (we're at the endgame now), but Usopp beating an HK is still seen as "too early"?
The difference is that I assume Usopp would defeat a blackbeard pirate the same time the rest of them go down. Usopp beating Killingham now would be like if Usopp beat Van Aguar in Egghead, before the rest of the crew had their time to be the arc fights. Or similarly, it would be like if Usopp beat Van Aguar before we saw Luffy beat commanders in WCI, and Zoro/Sanji in Wano. The stronger characters get their chances first, and the weaker characters later on. Similarly, Usopp beating a HK is ¨too early¨ because that is like an endgame Usopp achievement, very unlikely he would ever beat someone stronger then Killingham.
Fair point, but if Luffy and Loki are set up against Imu, Zoro vs. Killingham, and Gaban's out for injury then who's left to beat Sommers? (U cant say sanji since he cant counter regen just like usopp)
He´s probably going to have to get help/a powerup, or just send him into the ocean(?). I myself have no idea how it´s going to workout, though. It´s just more likely that someone like Sanji could figure it out, since for someone like Usopp, the issue isn´t even just regen, it´s dealing with an awakened mythical zoan in general. Even getting help wouldn´t change the fact that he likely couldn´t deal with Killingham in a 1v1.

I mean Sanji is not an entire squad so of course he would get his ass kicked.
I don’t even know what your point is and why you’re bringing up Sanji when this is an Zoro centric thread
I´m bringing up Sanji because Killingham isn´t known to have lost to the Roger pirates like Sommers has? But it doesn´t matter either way, losing to the Roger pirates doesn´t mean Sommers is going to be to weak to fight Sanji, he´s probably going to be a good bit stronger.
