Ekko's explanation is basically the same as making a lynchpin in a lychpin game scum and then saying "well I didn't tell you that all the lynchpins were town I just told you you needed one alive at the end". It's not a fair mystery and goes into "subverting expectations" which ultimately is what makes a game bastard or not. So I'm going to write this one off as bastard, next time Ekko wants to host here he's going to need a coach to reign in this sort of thing. Maybe a fresh pair of eyes can more objectively see the potential issues.
I was looking at @PowerLevel9000 like this during most of the game until I realized I couldn't win without him at some point.

Flower mad they wanted the tails to claim and I used it to my advantage and worked my ass off to disprove a scum could still have a tail when it was more hindrance to scum to have to seal it then to town. Like cmon bro you can give props to well done wolf play like I have to you before
The quick lynching was bad I agree. I think it would have been hard to come to the tails being scum though because there was a public wound notification. And given that Yoho was given the same treatment with nothing to seperate the two it logically follows that the 7 tails is town too. I don't thibk most people in the game would have gone that route over lynching through you, me and Naomi first.
Town lost their morale and felt it was hopeless so rather than using the time to have a proper discussion it was back to back quick lynches and @PowerLevel9000 took advantage

News spread to the world that the entire caravan is now missing, and you have not heard back from your owner in weeks. Losing all hope in his survival, you sought to visit your owner's most trusted friend and your second favorite person: The underground blackmarket catnip dealer, hoping you can receive some guidance or solace; However, you do not remember their exact address besides the strong smell of catnip near it...--- (Day) [Scent Sensing] - Once per day you can target a player. If they are the catnip dealer you will join a permanent neighbor chat with them.

--- [CATon: Ramen Ignition - Fire Stove Mode] - This was used to warm your food in the past, but now you must use it to survive. Create a box of fire surrounding 1 team Neko member (can self target). The box will amplify the effects of all positive actions targeting that player, additionally, the first harmful action targeting them in this night will be canceled, and its user will have half of their role be burned for the duration the following cycle. [1-shot; Requires Jonin Rank or higher]
(Passive) [Kekkei Genkai - Catchiha's Mangekyo Sharingan] - Should you witness a fellow team Neko member die right in front of your eyes, that is, after you join a chat with them, you will directly unlock your Mangekyo Sharingan, granting you the following abilities. These abilities are powerful, very powerful that they were created by Catchiha cats to make their owners give them infinite treats.
--- (Night) [KotoamatsuCATmi] - Target 1 player to subtly mind control. All positive actions that that player uses will be automatically redirected to you for the rest of the game unless you decide otherwise. Does not notify the target. [1-shot; Requires Kage Rank]
--- (Night) [Izanami] - Target 1 player to trap in a perpetual loop. The target is forced to compulsively visit the same players they visited in the previous cycle for the rest of the game, if able, unless you decide otherwise. Notifies the target of the order. [1-shot; Requires Kage Rank]
--- (Passive) [Izanagi] - A legendary technique and the sole reason why cats are thought to have 9 lives. The first time you would be killed, regardless of the kill strength, you will phase right through death and not die. Instead your Mangekyo Sharingan will be permanently destroyed and your Izanami and KotoamatsuCATmi effects will be terminated. Works once. [Requires Kage Rank]
Win con (Indie) - At least one member of team Neko survives until the end of the game and is Kage Rank when that happens. Your team cannot win if the Akatsuki achieves their objective.
